Recycling Collection Center CLOSED
Due to the results of Article 24 on the Town Ballot yesterday, the Collection Center located at 27 Main Street will be closed effective immediately.
THE FOLLOWING HOLIDAYS WILL RESULT IN A DELAYED COLLECTION:
NEW YEAR'S DAY, MEMORIAL DAY, INDEPENDENCE DAY, LABOR DAY, THANKSGIVING DAY, AND CHRISTMAS DAY
The Newton Transfer Station is open to residents of Kingston. Bulk items and construction materials will be accepted, but no cardboard.
Please be prepared to pay in exact change or by personal check, as no change will be given. For additional information- see flyer.

John’s Truck & Auto Salvage, located at 71A New Boston Road, is now accepting white goods (appliances, grills, etc.), tires and batteries for recycling. There is no charge for this service; please bring your items in during business hours.
The Town contracts with Waste Management of Londonderry and Rochester for residential solid waste and recycling pickup and disposal.
Report a missed pickup: If containers were curbside before 7am and were not emptied, report a missed pickup by calling the Highway Department, 603-642-8042.
Note that there is no solid waste or recycling pick up on New Year's, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving or Christmas.
Pick-up is delayed by one day for each day following the holiday in the week in which the holiday falls.

*As of March 2026, the Solid Waste & Recycling Committee, due to lack of membership, is dormant and does not hold regular meetings.
