Kingston, like all New Hampshire towns, relies heavily on elected and appointed volunteers to run its boards and committees. Town level government is very influential and rewarding; AND it takes a lot of people with varied skills and time to spare to run it smoothly. The best part is you don’t need any specific skills, just a willingness to get involved. Here’s some information that might help.

Other Items to Consider
- Meetings are generally held at night at one of the following locations: Town Hall, Museum, Library or the Public Works Building
- Many of the available positions are as alternate members which allows you the ability to learn while you participate
- All meetings are open to the public and participation is encouraged
